DRIVING SCHOOL OWNER'S DAY
Throughout the year, we're proud to feature exclusive Owner's Day events at each of our Driving Schools. Unique from typical Driving School experiences, these events encourage owners to bring and drive their own vehicle, and spend the day with other Land Rover owners. The four locations include Equinox Resort, Biltmore Estate, Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello and Quail Lodge. More details on each resort below.
NEW DATES FOR 2013:
- February 24
- May 19
- August 25
- November 10
Owner's Day events will not take place at every Driving School on every date above, as some of the schools have seasonal closures.
Land Rover Experience Driving Schools provide a unique opportunity to take advantage of the unparalleled capabilities our vehicles have to offer. Accompanied by a professional Land Rover Experience Driving Instructor, you'll learn to properly navigate steep ascents and descents, pick the right line on side tilts, and maintain vehicle control in challenging off-road settings. Whether avid enthusiast, seasoned adventurer or curious novice, each lesson will be customized to your individual skill level, so you're assured of facing exciting yet appropriate terrain.
When your day of off-road instruction is done, your evening will be spent amid the comfort and grandeur afforded by the world-class resorts where lessons are held.

Quail Lodge
A Carmel Valley legend, this 850-acre resort is surrounded by spectacular scenic beauty. Guests can enjoy championship golf on the sunny side of the Monterey Peninsula, relaxing spa treatments, tennis, and even a putting course that meanders among the beautifully renovated guest rooms. The Covey is one of the region's most celebrated restaurants, and Edgar's offers a casual 19th-hole atmosphere. Welcome to Quail Lodge, a resort unlike any other in Carmel or anywhere else.
AVID ENTHUSIAST
Seasoned adventurer. Curious novice hoping to savor breathtaking scenery from a fresh perspective. No matter what your skill level, you'll find yourself capable of navigating incredible off-road obstacles when there is a professional Land Rover Experience Driving Instructor at your side.
EXCITEMENT ON MANY LEVELS
When driving off-road, the speeds are slow. But there's no time to relax. No matter how slowly you drive, things happen fast when you're descending a steep, deeply rutted two-track trail, or when you're managing a tight hairpin turn with trees encroaching on both sides. And even at a single mile per hour, you're sure to feel a surge of adrenaline as you drive over a pile of logs with just three wheels touching, and only one with traction.
No matter how thrilling the challenges, you'll quickly learn to hone your skills under the guidance of your expert Land Rover Experience Driving Instructor.
Of course it also helps that your classroom is a Land Rover - an SUV from a family of tremendously capable four-wheel-drive vehicles that have literally been raised in the wilds of the world's most remote areas.
