One star because there was no option to select any. I thought having a Land Rover was my dream vehicle but this has been the WORST experience EVER. Worst experience Buying any vehicle EVER!
they delivered a certified pre owned Rover that had issues within 5 minutes of them delivering truck. Should have been corrected in their 160 point "through" inspection to make this a certified pre owned vehicle. It has been over two months since purchase and i still have no title or registration. temp plates are now expired. I recently had my vehicle in for a service call. Gerald my service technician was, as always, at his best. He kept me informed the entire time and was available by phone and on site. I couldn’t have asked for more.

My very first car purchasing experience was with this dealership. Everything sounded great, and I trusted that I was being well taken care of. However, after purchasing the vehicle, and the dealership ran an inspection on the car to allow the vehicle to be driven off the lot. Do NOT trust this dealership, especially the service department. Specifically, John Sarantidis. He cares nothing about the customer and will only use you for a money grab. He goes back on what he says and is not truthful. I am certain you can find a different Jaguar Land Rover dealership that is honest and cares about what is best for the customer. My car is great..... my dealership is not!

Bad customer service. They do not keep their agreements. They do not call you back when they say they will. They take days to do the simplest things.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Land Rover Austin last week. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Last March I ordered a new Defender with a delivery date in roughly 10 months. Professional Like Robert Wall make the process very simple, thanks to him I received an immaculate vehicle. He has knowledge to help the customer get the best value and resolve the process efficiently. Also thanks to Bill , finance officer who knows how to that paperwork without paper. ALSO,They have fair prices and they are only 5 blocks from Amtrak Station, so where ever you are take the train is slower sometimes ,but cheaper than gas and you can drive home.. The service department is horrendous. I spoke to the service manager after my car had been there for a day and half…they hadn’t started on it, even though I had an appointment. He claimed that all cars coming in for service would wait 6-10 business days before the work would begin. Communication is an absolute joke.

The service department is all absolute joke. They were booked one month out and when it came time to take the car in didn't have the loaner promised for 4 more days. For routine service (oil change, differential flush, etc.) it took 3 weeks to get the car back. Once back the chief complaint was not resolved. They are not apologetic or try to lessen the inconvenience whatsoever. There are plenty of independent Land Rover service professionals in town and I would HIGHLY recommend going to one of them!

I'm not complaining about the dealership, just wondering if anyone else is getting property tax bills for their leased personal, not business, vehicles. This is my 2nd leased vehicle over the last 4 years and 2nd time I've received a tax bill. If I don't own it, why would I have to pay property taxes? According to the research I've done with the TX State Comptrollers Office, I shouldn't owe property taxes if it is a personal, leased vehicle!

I've been trying to get a broken window washer fixed, in warranty on a 2017. First asked Austin JLR for repair last November. Since then I've had two service appointments scheduled then canceled "The Service Manager has asked us to cancel your appointment as we are way overbooked" (IE...understaffed!) This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. I waited 7 hours and 18 minutes to get my vehicle serviced ( oil change and two warranty issues). Dealer refused to do a pre-purchase inspection to my (reputable) mechanics 4 miles away. Didn't want to join me for inspection as it would take time off from him selling cars. He encouraged my mechanics to inspect the car on their lot which all the mechanics I knew refused to do so.

This has to be the worst dealership I've ever been to! I've owned a Lexus and Audi before and never been treated this way from a luxury car dealership. No one acted like they were willing to help and the service gentleman was too busy to call me back and discuss my vehicle service options. Have had several dealings with this store and Damon Spears the GM is clearly not qualified to run this operation. At best he once might have been a so-so salesman. He does not value long term customers and I have owned several Rovers all of which I was forced to get elsewhere as he tried to take advantage of me as to the value of my trade in each time. Jim Snell the owner has had the wool pulled over his eyes as far as I and other customers I have spoken with are concerned.

We purchased our Range Rover from Jaguar Land Rover Austin largely because of the quality of service on our previous Land Rover. Our service representative, Ben, is the best in the business, and he and his team stayed on the issue until it was resolved.

I’ve been buying from LR since 2001. Their sales department is first class, but they really shine in service. I’m always able to get in at a convenient time, they stay in touch with me through the service process and they always have a loaner. I’ll buy from this dealership for life.

Poor customer retention in the Service department. Service reps don't even schedule a service session for almost a month. Lot of back and forth for loaner vehicles and they dont even call customers to give an update or schedule a future date.

Great staff very professional and welcoming. Daniel Souza was one of the best dealers I had the pleasure to talk with. He made a effort to go over all questions I had and was very attentive to my daughter and our needs.
