Why Do I Need an Authorized Land Rover Oil Change?

Although an oil change may seem like a straightforward service, you don’t want to trust your luxury vehicle to a mechanic who isn’t Land Rover-trained. Our technicians receive comprehensive training and are held to strict standards by Land Rover. They also have ample experience working on Land Rovers, so they are familiar with your model and its specific maintenance requirements.

Frequency

Late-model Land Rovers can drive anywhere from 7,500 to 10,000 miles between oil changes. However, if you drive an older model or drive in extreme conditions, you’ll want to stay with the old-standard 3,000-mile recommendation. You should get service scheduled immediately if you notice:

  • Your oil level is low
  • The oil dipstick has gritty or dark-colored oil on it
  • Your “check engine” light is on

What Is Land Rover Battery Service?

Your battery provides the energy needed to start your vehicle and powers your locks, lights, and other electronic components when your car is off. During battery service, a technician will inspect your battery for signs of wear or corrosion. They will then test voltage to ensure it produces the appropriate amount of energy. Having your battery serviced when you come in for an oil change allows our technicians to replace it if needed, preventing you from being stranded.

How Often Do I Need Land Rover Brake Service?

Even if your brakes aren’t displaying any warning signs that something’s wrong, you’ll still want to have them serviced regularly. Bringing your Land Rover in for a brake service every 12 months or 12,000 miles prevents dangerous problems from developing.
